Wine Shrimp

The natural sweet taste of shrimps in shell is intensified simmering in rice wine.  As a result, the broth turns into a rich orange and it’s delicious to eat with rice. This only takes about  5 mins to make. Great recipe to make when you don’t have much time.

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons of cooking oil

1 garlic clove

1 pound of shrimp, with head and shells

1 cup of rice wine

pinch of salt and ground white pepper

Directions:

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant and hot about 30 seconds.

Add the shrimp and stir fry for about 30 seconds.

Pour rice wine and bring it to a boil. Let it boil until the shrimps are orange and completely cooked about 3 minutes.

Season the broth with salt and ground white pepper and ready to serve.
