Meat Sauce

Extremely flavorful. Long simmered in sauce. Only a small spoonful of this pork meat sauce needs to be spread on top of a bowl of rice. You can use ground pork or pork belly to make this dish. I used both  in my recipe so I get best of both worlds. This dish can be served with rice or noodles for a very satisfying and tasty meal.

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons of cooking oil

2 garlic cloves

1 1/2 to 2 pounds of ground pork/sliced pork belly

4 scallions (white part only)

1 teaspoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of five spice powder

1 cup rice wine

1 cup light soy sauce

1/2 cup dark soy sauce
